Full Face of Charlotte Tilbury | Beauty

I've been yearning for a "glowing soul" vibe of late.  Drinking my daily ginger shot, doing regular cardio, eating my veggies and spending more time in the fresh air, I'm noticing a difference to not only my general outlook but also my complexion, getting that glow from within.  But some days, I need a little extra help to achieve that look, and guess which brand I'm reaching for? (The clue is in the post title!) It's no secret that I adore Charlotte Tilbury and I wanted to share my favourite products from her range; this is my full face of CT and how I get that glow...

When it comes to skincare and base products, this summer I’ve very much become a less-is-more fan.  I’ve fallen in love with my freckles and using a lightweight foundation has become my go-to. When Charlotte Tilbury released the Hollywood Flawless Filter, I (along with many others it seems) believed this was a foundation and whilst I added it to my wishlist, I had quite a lot of foundations to use up so had not intended on purchasing it until the winter months.  It was only when I read another blogger’s review that I discovered it wasn’t a foundation but more of a primer/highlight hybrid, a complexion booster, as described by Charlotte herself, and that I had to get my makeup obsessed hands on it.  I ordered shade 3 light/medium which was a complete, but fortunately correct, guess.

After letting Charlotte's Magic Cream soak in to my skin, I go ahead and apply the booster as an alternative to foundation.  So far, I’ve found blending with a beauty blender to be my favourite application method.  I adore the finish this gives, it makes your skin look so fresh and luminous without making it look shimmery.  I love the level of coverage you get whilst still looking natural, it really is like adding an Instagram filter to your face! Throughout the day, you look glowy and gorgeous, and your makeup does not cake at all; a winner in this everlasting heatwave.

With my last CT order, I picked up a sample of The Retoucher concealer in shade 2 fair (you get free samples with every CT order, so I would 10/10 recommend ordering direct!).  I'd not tried the concealer before, but it is amazing.  I use this under my eyes to hide my work-induced dark circles and also around my nose due to a little redness.  The concealer does crease a little, but after a quick swipe of the Airbrush Flawless Finish powder in shade 2 medium, I'm good to go.  I purchased the powder in the Covent Garden Boutique after watching Jamie Genevieve use it in a YouTube tutorial; she looked flawless and I also wanted to look flawless, and I've not been disappointed. I've just run out but will be restocking soon!

Using the warmth of my fingers, I apply the Beach Stick in Moon Beach to the apples of my cheeks.  This is the perfect iridescent peach shade for summer and the heat from my skin helps to evenly blend the blush and give a natural flushed look to the cheeks.  This is a great accompaniment to the Hollywood Flawless Filter and you could easily just use the two for a gorgeous summer base!  I never like to have a lot of bronzer or highlight in summer, just enough to define my cheekbones and contour my nose. I use both the bronzer and highlighter shades in my Instant Look In A Palette.  I've found myself using a big fan brush to apply the highlight to the high points of my cheeks and my brow bone - I feel that when you are going for a sun-kissed glowy vibe, you can afford to be a little sloppy with highlight!
I don't believe my palette is still available, but a similar one can be found here!

Charlotte Tilbury (UK)

Many moons ago, long before this blog was born, I used to love playing with my eye makeup.  It was one of my favourite ways to express my creativity, and I hoarded eyeshadow palettes as though my life depended on it. However, as my life has become busier, I don’t have as much time to dedicate to a gorgeous eye look but I still like a little something to make my eyes pop.  Introducing the Eyes to Mesmerise cream eyeshadow in Bette...

You only need the tiniest amount of product, and I find using your ring finger to apply is the best bet as the touch is so light and you can be a lot more accurate with the application and blending.  I like to use this all over the lid and then use a fluffy brush to diffuse the inner corner.

The Eyes to Mesmerise pots are so gorgeous that you could just leave it there, but if you want to enhance the eye a little further, I could not recommend the Bigger Brighter Eyes eye quad in Transform-Eyes more.  The Charlotte Tilbury quads are designed to create a stunning eye look in a few simple steps, they blend like a dream and they are perfect for either enhancing your natural beauty or creating a dramatic eye.

One thing I LOVE about Charlotte's range is the products that are targeted toward certain eye colours; pop in to their Covent Garden Boutique and the team in store can recommend the most gorgeous products to compliment your eyes.  One of the team suggested the Colour Chameleon eyeshadow pencil in Amber Haze for me, and I love it.  I use this under my lower lash line, as it is so easy to apply and blend, and does not drag the skin like some eyeshadow pencils.

I finish off the eye with the Rock 'n' Kohl eye liner pencil in Eye Cheat, perfect for making your eyes look extra bright and a lick of the Legendary Lashes Volume 2 mascara on my top lashes and my ride-or-die Full Fat Lashes mascara on my bottom lashes.

I quite enjoy the natural shape and thickness of my eyebrows, but I do fill in the sparse areas with the Brow Lift and then brush them through using the Legendary Brows eyebrow gel in Super Model. These have become my new favourite brow combo since my Benefit products ran out.  I'm trying to go cruelty-free with all of my beauty products, and seeing as Charlotte Tilbury is cruelty-free, I decided to give these a go!

I finish off my glowing soul look with the Lip Cheat liner in Pillow Talk, a cult favourite loved by supermodels and influencers alike, and my new favourite nude, the Matte Revolution lipstick in Very Victoria.  I adore the Matte Revolution lipsticks and this one has become a staple in my every day makeup bag!

  4. Okay girl first of all, I LOVE how your blog looks, it’s so pretty!! Now onto the post, the packaging is so eye catching, I really love the gold theme going on. You’ve really made me want eye quad, that would be so perfect for me to take when I go on holiday as it’s a whole look without having to bring along a huge palette! I loooove the look you’ve created, especially the lipstick shade, I’m very tempted to go and pick one up for myself x

  7. I'm loving this post darl, you're utterly stunning! Glowing from within is, of course, so important (I love getting in my antioxidant smoothies, yasss) but, I do agree, sometimes a little help is needed (in my case, a LOT) and Charlotte Tilbury products are perfect for that. The bigger brighter eyes quad looks beautiful - I love the warm orangey shade on the bottom left, so stunning! Of course, I can't help but gravitate towards Pillow Talk as well, simply because it's such a gorgeous pinky nude that suits a lot of different skin tones. Again, I can't stress enough - you look beautiful and this was a lovely post! x
