Food & Lifestyle Christmas Gift Guide

For my family, Christmas is about relaxing at home in your cosy slippers with all the food and drink; mince pies, mulled wine, all the cheese. Whether you know a person well or are not so sure of their tastes, I think you can't go wrong with gifting them something to dig in to over the festive period.  I wanted to put together a food and lifestyle gift guide this year and with less than two weeks to go, I've selected a few bits and pieces that would look fab under any Christmas tree...

Perfect for a stocking filler are these Edinburgh Gin miniatures.  If you're unsure of which gins they have tried or what flavour they like, this little selection is ideal! If the recipient isn't a big alcohol drinker, why not gift them Whittard's Christmas Feast of Tea.  Should you want something a little extra to go with your miniatures gift sets, Anthropologie sell the most beautiful monogrammed tumblers and mugs that would make a gorgeous, more personal gift.

One thing I have got back in to in 2018 is books, right now I cannot get enough.  3 books I have recently added to my reading list, and that would make lovely gifts for Christmas, are Lagom: The Swedish Art of Balanced Living, all about how to live the Scandi lifestyle trend of "not too much, not too little, just right", Victoria Magrath's The New Fashion Rules, blogger InTheFrow's first (and hopefully not last!) book all about the fashion industry through the eyes of an influencer, and Places I Stopped On the Way Home by Meg Fee, a memoir of the author's years spent in New York City, complete with love, friendship and finding yourself.

If you have a blogger in your life, or are thinking of taking the leap in to this industry yourself, why not purchase a subscription to Blogosphere magazine?  This is more like an influencer industry bible, than a magazine.  Full of fresh, interesting and useful content, whether you blog about technology, style, travel, I can guarantee you will enjoy this deeper insight in to the influencer and blogger community.

Subscriptions are no longer just for magazines either! Why not gift your loved one a subscription to The Biscuit Baron?  Each month the box contains 5-8 packets of biscuits! The biscuits are from a different country each month and the team at The Biscuit Baron were kind enough to recently gift me their Italy box, full of treats from one of my favourite countries! I've never come across a biscuit subscription box before and I think this would make such a good Christmas gift for someone who loves to travel (and to eat)!

A gift I received for my birthday which I absolutely love, is my Ted Baker jewellery case. A faux leather travel case, with a beautiful grey velvet lining, this is perfect for either storing your jewellery collection at home or for packing in to your suitcase for a weekend away.  The jewellery case is embossed with Ted Baker's signature bow, and has a gorgeous rose gold zip.  This would make a beautiful gift for any jewellery lover, and also comes in black for those who are not as keen on pink as myself!

Know someone who has had a stressful year and wants to unwind in the New Year? A candle would make a lovely gift! The White Company have an amazing range of fragrances available. If you are after a bargain, why not head to their boutique at Bicester Village for their excellent Winter offers on home and loungewear! I also picked up this gorgeous Kate Spade bag at 55% off RRP!

I hope this helps if you are struggling to think of gifts to choose this Christmas! I've also popped a few more ideas below, whether you have a small budget or want to buy that one-off special gift for your loved one (hello future boyfriend, I will have the Givenchy bag please!)
